SOLAR ENERGY
BECG Group is closely engaged in the delivery of solar throughout the UK, including in planning communications, corporate communications, PR and public affairs. We also deliver regular insight to the sector and are a member of Solar Energy UK.

We’ve worked extensively with solar clients such as JBM Solar, Renewable Energy Solutions, Elmya and Locogen to deliver planning communications to support projects of all scales through the various consenting regimes in England and Scotland.
Our corporate communications and PR work in the sector includes supporting Ylem Energy grow their presence as an industry leader in onsite power generation solutions, with solar at the heart of what they do. Our work with National Grid on projects such as Bramford to Twinstead and the ‘What If’ campaign are examples of our considerable experience in supporting complex infrastructure and energy projects.
INSIGHT FOR THE SOLAR SECTOR
We continually invest in the delivery of insights in the solar and renewables sector. In March 2023 and in line with the Government publishing its revised Net Zero Strategy, we released public polling showing that more than three-quarters of people would support the development of solar in their local area. See more here.
In November 2022 we held a solar roundtable event with Bim Afolami MP, attended by representatives from across the solar sector.
Last year BECG also launched its campaign to work with the public and private sectors to discuss the UK’s journey to net zero. We commissioned Savanta ComRes to undertake a survey of MPs and councillors from across the UK to understand what they think about Net Zero and the Green Economy.
