Aster’s bold vision is that ‘everyone has a home’, and as a not-for-profit organisation, all the revenue that Aster generates is reinvested into the business to achieve this goal. Its ambitious development programme will see Aster deliver over 11,500 new homes across the country over the next seven years.
Aster has a strong track record of developing a wide range of new homes for outright sale, shared ownership and affordable rent. All their profits are reinvested back into development programmes, so they can continue to build more homes wherever they are needed.
As well as delivering large scale projects, they are committed to supporting rural homes and keeping the future of local villages alive.
How we are assisting
BECG has been working collaboratively with Aster for many years. We have supported many Aster sites through to a successful planning consent, and we are continuing to support Aster on several live sites across Dorset.
Our detailed community consultation programme is tailored specifically for each site. The objective is to deliver robust and Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) compliant consultation, which seeks to mitigate any negative impact a development may have and promote the many community benefits of Aster’s schemes.
