BECG monitored the changing political situation closely, observing new candidates, media outlets, the election result and committee appointments
BECG provided strategic advice and political counsel to St George on their planning application to redevelop the Northfields Industrial Estate.
This high-profile project for St George, named Grand Union, proposed delivering 2,900 homes, alongside community and employment space and was progressing during a time of political uncertainty.
With London Borough elections fast approaching, BECG monitored the changing political situation closely, observing new candidates, campaigns, local media outlets, the overall election result and subsequent committee appointments. At every stage of this monitoring process, BECG provided St George with high-level analysis about the risks and opportunities to their application.
The application was unanimously approved by Brent’s Planning Committee in June 2018.
