Background
BECG provides full pre-application communications services to Aldi nationally. At their more sensitive sites, BECG provides support during the construction of new stores or extensions to existing ones.
How we assist
Our role primarily is to act as a contact point to deal with enquiries and complaints from near neighbours and to be an intermediary between the construction team and Aldi.
Our work involves:
- Initial door knocking exercise to inform near neighbours of the start on site
- Provide freephone and email contacts for any issues or concerns
- Liaison with the construction team to mitigate complaints and escalate as required
- Draft responses to complaints and enquiries
- Keep a record of complaints/enquiries
- Media management
- Engagement with local elected representatives
