Working to a tight budget for an OTC launch, the campaign needed to establish a clear and strong proposition so it could compete in the market and be easily adapted for health professionals and consumers without losing impact.

BECG has been working with Bristol Laboratories, a leading British pharmaceutical company, for many years, supporting them on a range of projects; including the launch of a new OTC brand:  Migraitan, a migraine relief medicine.

How we assisted

Our team had the opportunity to develop a launch trade campaign, pharmacist training materials, consumer education booklet to provide information and guidance around migraines and migraine prevention and treatment, and an animation aimed at driving awareness of the product amongst consumers.

The results

The creation of a short animation allowed the brand to drive awareness amongst consumers through digital channels cost effectively, reaching over 46,000 views in its first year.

As one of Bristol Laboratories  more high-profile OTC products, the campaign also provided an opportunity to reinforce Bristol Laboratories position as a credible manufacturer of branded consumer health products.
