Digital Account Director
What it’s all about
We are looking for an ambitious account director looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing National consultancy, to work from our London and/or Winchester offices. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering integrated digital marketing and comms projects with a strong focus on social media engagement and content strategy and creation. Alongside this we’ll also be looking for a solid understanding of digital development.
You’ll be responsible for the strategic planning and day-to-day delivery of exceptional work for our key accounts, collaborating with our client service and creative studio teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional work covering digital builds – websites and apps, digital campaigns, social media and digital content production. You’ll also have extensive experience of working with social media platforms [paid and organic] and have a detailed knowledge and understanding of how to use digital and social insights alongside analytics tools, to plan and track campaign effectiveness.
With a strong commercial focus, you’ll play a pivotal role in the development of our digital engagement product portfolio and growth of client accounts, and be able to advise on the full breadth of our digital services – from digital builds, to app development to social media campaigns.
With a strong track record of devising and delivering digital campaign strategies, you’ll provide insight-led strategic counsel and direction to your clients and colleagues – backed by insight-led efficient data analysis – reporting back on activity, results, and profitability across the projects you’ll lead.
What you’ll need to be
- A seasoned Account Director with a 5+ years’ experience in marketing / digital roles
- A commercial and strategic thinker, able to take a creative approach to complex business challenges and opportunities and provide counsel to clients – acting as a true consultant
- Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital and social media marketing campaigns.
- A strong understanding of all digital marketing channels, online marketing tools and digital best practice.
- An excellent communicator, with an analytical mind, who can communicate at all levels
- Multi-tasker who is able to successfully manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast–paced agency environment.
Passionate about new business, including networking, leading pitches and tenders and identifying opportunities for growth.
What you’ll need to do
You will be responsible for driving forward the execution of successful digital marketing strategies to help drive commercial value for your clients’. Liaising directly with clients, to provide expert counsel, ensuring the effective delivery of all projects within your portfolio.
Supported by a team of Account Managers, Account Executives, and an internal creative studio, you need to be an excellent communicator who can multi-task and deliver outstanding digital campaign and content strategies.
And with a strong focus on new business and client growth, you should enjoy networking, identifying new opportunities and be able to lead on and contribute to pitches and new business.
