What it’s all about

We are looking for a built environment and business development enthusiast to help us drive our growth across the south of England.

Highly motivated, full of initiative, enthusiastic and keen to learn – you’ll have a buzz for sales and watching the business grow and will be able to get your head around a variety of briefs ranging from helping to deliver events, to supporting colleagues in their new business activity and writing compelling copy for tenders and proposals.

  • An interest in the built environment with an understanding of the factors that shape it
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • A flair for sales
  • The confidence to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • The capability to work with a creative team to produce content

What you’ll need to do

You will work with the business development lead in the south of England to deliver the marketing and new business plan for the financial year.

This will include helping to organise webinars and events, supporting colleagues in delivering follow ups from our new business and marketing activity, helping to write compelling tenders and proposals, coming up with your own business development initiatives and seeing them through to delivery and ultimately contributing to a tangible increase in sales and profile for the company in the south of England.
