Kevin is an experienced political communications consultant who specialises in political advocacy and campaigning for clients across the built environment.

With over a decade’s experience, Kevin leads BECG’s North Region team, helping clients to manage their political, media and stakeholder reputations.

Matt Crisp

Associate Director

Having held in-house and agency roles, Matthew has communications and stakeholder engagement experience across the public, private and third sector. He has devised and managed the delivery of strategies to secure planning consents for projects covering the energy, transport, residential, retail and regeneration sectors.

Matthew currently leads on a number of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects with a thorough understanding of the planning process surrounding Development Consent Orders.

Carole Riley

Account Director

Carole specialises in community relations and issues management. She has worked with energy sector clients since 1994 and previously spent more than ten years with the CEGB.

Carole has been involved in providing communications support for the permitting and construction of power stations (gas and biomass), wind farms, airports and waste management facilities and has been the lead account director handling communications during the construction of the Carrington Power Station project in Trafford.

Carole has also been involved with the stakeholder communications and public relations for a number of other major gas-fired power station developments including Rocksavage in Runcorn, Spalding 1 and 2 in Lincolnshire and the Gateway Energy Centre in Thurrock.

Emma Wilson

Senior Account Manager

Emma has an excellent understanding of the political process both at local and national levels, and methods for engagement with local stakeholders, including the use of social media. She is experienced with dealing with challenging enquiries from the public, and coordinating multi-agency response.

Emma creates and manages consultation campaigns for a range of clients including retail, residential, employment developments, quarries, energy and infrastructure. Emma manages project accounts, ensuring delivery of services to the agreed timeline, and liaises with her clients and the wider project teams. Emma regularly attends client meetings to discuss wider strategy, and acts as a client representative in direct liaison with key stakeholders, such as local elected representatives. She is well-practised in communicating sensitive issues to the public and de-escalating potentially volatile, or emotionally charged situations.

Matt Broad

Account Executive

Matt is a skilled communications professional, and trained journalist, with four years industry experience including creating engaging content and campaigns, news reports and managing social media.

In his current role, Matt supports the wider project team in the development of consultation and engagement materials including, newsletters, key messages, letters and press releases. He is confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders including local councillors, MPs, business leaders and the general public.
