Kingfisher Group and LoveThat take Gold for Best Use of Digital

On Wednesday evening LoveThat (creative services of the BECG group) and Kingfisher took home gold in the Corporate Content Europe Awards 2022. They were awarded Best Use of Digital for bringing an exciting digital project to life during the pandemic.

For Kingfisher’s Outdoor Virtual Product Show, flexible access to content and a structure around a single event helped the company reimagine its annual show for a digital audience. LoveThat developed a digital event that created a two-way dialogue between Kingfisher’s leadership team and its frontline staff.

From project initiation, we worked with the Kingfisher team to produce 14 pieces of bespoke video content, creating an engaging virtual experience, and live streaming the event to colleagues in stores across the UK and Europe.

Judges felt the conversational element of the event was a great decision for a company seeking to engage with employees throughout the pandemic.

One judge praised it as a “smart use of digital to meet business needs in the pandemic.”
