Join our networking event bringing together built environment professionals operating in Oxfordshire.

Our guest speaker will be the former Leader of West Oxfordshire, James Mills, who, as a leading local politician for over 10 years, has extensive experience of Oxfordshire’s political and development landscape. As Leader at West Oxfordshire, James led the production and adoption of the district’s controversial Local Plan, which included multiple strategic land sites, and maintained healthy Conservative majorities throughout, before stepping down as Leader this year.

James was also the housing and growth lead for the Oxfordshire Growth Board, led Member engagement on the Oxfordshire Plan 2050, sat on the Oxford-Cambridge Arc Leaders’ Group, and was a non-exec director of the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP). James now works as a consultant and advises clients on how to successfully engage and navigate local and regional government.

This event will be an opportunity for built environment professionals working in Oxfordshire to network, learn from James’s experience in the region, and share learnings from successes in the region.

The event runs between 12:00-14:00 and will be held at the Quod Restaurant in the 5* Old Bank Hotel, Oxford, with lunch and refreshments provided.
