BECG wins Global Independent Consultancy of the Year Award

BECG is celebrating again. For the second time we have been awarded the prestigious Independent Consultancy of the Year Award at the annual ICCO global awards ceremony held on 2nd December 2021.

The ICCO Awards is a globally recognised awards programme that represents 70 countries worldwide. Entries are judged by an elite panel of top international PR practitioners.

Our submission showcased some of the recent work that we have been doing for clients, including:

  • Mobilising the disengaged to turn 68% public opposition for a runway extension at Southampton Airport to 60% support, securing a decisive Council approval – the first UK airport to secure permission since 2011.
  • Providing communications support to Inland Ports to ensure that all key sites for the Government’s inland border facilities were operational in time for the Brexit deadline of 1st January 2021, supporting ongoing flow of vital trade between the UK and EU.
  • Raising awareness of decarbonising and fuel poverty in housing with politicians, the media, and the Cabinet office by positioning our client Stonewater as the ‘go to’ policy makers.

We also profiled the ways that we have been making BECG a great place to work, with professional development, empowerment, wellbeing, and collaboration all top of our agenda and making BECG a great place to build a career.

This accolade, in addition to our other Awards this year, including Specialist Consultancy of the Year at the PRCA National Awards, further confirms BECG as the leading consultancy for  clients in the built environment.
