Here at BECG, we believe in corporate responsibility and adding social value wherever possible. We pride ourselves on being able to offer support to our charity partners and this year we are thrilled to have selected The Murray Parish Trust as one of those chosen charities.

Founded in 2014 by actors James Murray and Sarah Parish in memory of their late daughter Ella-Jayne, The Murray Parish Trust is dedicated to the advancement of paediatric emergency medicine across the South of England. The charity is currently running a campaign to fund the development of a revolutionary iMRI Suite at Southampton Children’s Hospital.

Stephen Pomeroy, CEO, BECG said: “We are delighted to be supporting The Murray Parish Trust’s iMRI Appeal that is working so hard to ensure that children can receive the best care. Their passion, energy and commitment is an inspiration to us all.”

Sarah Parish added: “We have a couple of really exciting fundraising projects in the pipeline and it is brilliant to have the local support and expertise of BECG’s communications team on board at such an early stage.”

BECG works with The Murray Parish Trust by raising money and awareness to support their projects at key trauma centres, enabling pioneering research and providing life-saving equipment.

Amy McNeill, Head of HR and Operations at BECG, has her own heartwarming story with the charity. She shared: “My nine-year-old daughter, May, (see photo to the right) has been a patient at Southampton Children’s Hospital since she was born. It’s a place filled with hope and incredible staff, so to be involved in helping to improve the facilities there, on a personal level, is extremely special. I’ve long admired the tangible and significant impact that The Murray Parish Trust makes, and BECG have supported them in an ad hoc capacity for a while. So they were my first port of call when we redesigned BECG’s CSR strategy. We are thrilled to have formalised our partnership with the charity as they continue to make a difference at the hospital.”

Companies can support the Murray Parish Trust in a variety of ways: enabling Payroll Giving and employee volunteering; match-funding employees’ initiatives; sponsorship of, attending and providing venues for their events; in-kind donations or nominating them as their Charity of the Year.

James Murray said: “The on-going support of corporates is vital to the charity’s ability to maximise fundraising potential from the events it holds throughout the year and we’re always excited when a local business choses to support the charity in any way they can.”
