A seven-strong team from BECG will be heading out to MIPIM from 12th -15th March 2019. This year’s theme, ‘Engaging the Future’, will consider the next 30 years for the built environment and BECG intends be at the forefront of the conversation.
As sector specialists in the built environment, we are bringing to MIPIM expert consultants from our Manchester, London and Winchester offices, who together have worked on property and infrastructure projects across the UK.
Wherever you are in the UK you are not far from a BECG project. This gives us a unique insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our clients across the residential, commercial, energy, transport, logistics, utilities and waste sectors.
Speaking ahead of the conference, Andrew Howard, Managing Director of BECG, said:
“MIPIM is an important opportunity for BECG to meet clients and partners in the UK’s built environment, who are collaborating with us on some of the most important public and private sector development projects.
“This year, our expert team will be joining the conversation around ‘social value’ and the contribution and impact this can make. Understanding the importance of, and being able to measure and communicate social value, is fundamental to the building of consent between our clients and the communities whose built environment we are shaping.
“We will be asking what the role of social value is and how it can deliver better development? How we can better connect the whole of the UK to new global opportunities? How we can better connect investment with the communities at the heart of new development?
“Getting the answers to these questions right is vital if we are to help create a better built environment for the next 30 years.”
