Some of our airport and aviation clients include AGS Group, Amex Global Business Travel, Arora Group at Heathrow West, London Southend, London Biggin Hill Airport, Luton Rising, Birmingham Airport, Southampton Airport and NATS.

From delivering robust stakeholder engagement and community consultation programmes to successfully managing the engagement and consultation requirements of the CAA’s Airspace Change Proposal process, BECG Group’s engagement experts have the experience to work alongside our client’s technical consultants to support planning and communication goals while protecting their reputation.

We also support the aviation sector with public affairs and corporate communications, delivered through our colleagues’ unrivalled experience of dealing with politicians, civil servants, and regulators, in addition to our highly skilled creative, digital, media, and marketing specialist teams, whenever they are required across projects.

BECG Group Insight: Views of MPs on common aviation issues

In partnership with YouGov and concluded in March 2023, we surveyed MPs’ perceptions of the aviation sector, seeking to understand the most common aviation issues raised by their constituents.

Our survey found that noise pollution is the most frequently raised aviation issue raised by MPs of all parties, with a quarter naming the issue. This was followed by parking charges, the Net Zero agenda and queuing / customer service, each named by around one-fifth of all MPs as other hot topics raised (22%, 22% and 21% respectively).

Significantly, our survey identified a partisan differential in the aviation issues named by MPs. More Labour MPs (38%) named queuing / customer service as an issue raised, compared to just 12% of Conservatives.
