Account Executive (PR & Marketing)


What it’s all about 

We are looking for a talented comms professional with a background in public relationsmarketing and social mediaHighly motivated and enthusiastic, you’ll have a passion for innovative communications and supporting the delivery of excellent results for clients alongside an experienced team.   

The suitable candidate will ideally have been working in a communications agency for 1+ years  and looking for a new challenge to develop your career with an award-winning, national specialist communications consultancy. 

What you’ll need to be 

  • An excellent communicator with solid writing skills  
  • Someone who understands all aspects of marketing, public relations, digital and social media 
  • Able to successfully support on several client accounts simultaneously 
  • Experienced in liaising with journalists to generate positive news coverage  
  • Someone who can collate, analyse and evaluate campaign results to prepare regular client reports  
  • Able to assist with the production of content with a creative services team  
  • Passionate about keeping on top of relevant industry news and monitoring the media  

Responsibilities and Duties  

In your role as a PR and marketing executive, you will support the implementation of creative communications strategies, led by a team of account managers and account directors.  

This will include monitoring the media daily and having a confident approach to building relationships with journalists and other stakeholders. Your role will also involve supporting the wider team with client reports, research and traditional/social media monitoring.  

To make this role a success, you will need to have a broad communications skillset to deliver integrated multi-channel work including copywriting, liaising with the media and community groups, supporting the management of social media channels and content, and assisting in the production of traditional marketing collateral, video and websites.
